Daylesford & Hepburn Springs Photography - Scrollup

So much thought, planning and preparation goes into every wedding. But once the big day is over, photographs are the link that strengthen and preserve the memories. My aim is always to create a narrative of your special day as it unfolds. From the flowers, rings, table settings and little details that make each event unique, to the party photos, first dance, and intimate family moments, I endeavour to create a record of your event in a relaxed and unobtrusive manner.

There are so many parts to the day; you choose what is important to you…

Wedding days bring families and friends together. When was the last time you got ready for an event with your closest and dearest by your side? Capturing the finishing touches of a makeup artist, or the best man trying to remember how to tie that Half-Windsor adds to the story of your day, before the celebrant has even said a word!

Whether you’re getting married in a garden, a church or a hall, I will be there to capture the emotions, the energy (and that first kiss!) for you to look back on. After the ceremony, and often my favourite part of any wedding, is the time when all of your friends and family want to congratulate the newlyweds. There is always such joy in those interactions.

One of the key parts of any wedding day is taking the opportunity to photograph families and friends together. We will create a shot list before the wedding to make sure that no one is forgotten on the day. Afterwards, we steal away for some more intimate (and fun!) moments with your bridal party. I know of many picturesque locations in and around Daylesford, and am happy to explore new places to make your portraits unique.

After the official, more formal part of the day is over and it’s time to relax and celebrate, I will work to capture your party as it unfolds. Beyond the cutting of the cake or the speeches, my aim is always to photograph people in a candid and relaxed way, whether catching up with family or hitting the dance floor. I’ll be there to capture it all!
